'Meloe Proscarabaeus' is a flightless Beetle which emits an oily liquid when alarmed . Feeds on vegetation.
The Female digs a burrow and lays thousands of eggs which hatch into Larvae .The Larvae attach themselves to foraging bees and are transported to the bees nest. The Larvae eat the bees eggs , pollen , nectar and develop into adults.
